About Château du Hureau
Château du Hureau, a historic property and one of the few wine-producing châteaux in the Loire, stands as a premier producer of Saumur-Champigny. Passed down through generations, it is now managed by fifth-generation vigneron Philippe Vatan and his daughter Agathe. Situated east of Saumur and west of Chinon, the château features stunning Loire-style architecture, including an octagonal tower and mansard roofs.
