Product Description

Tasting Notes:

Made from the unique and ancient grapes Obaideh and Merwah, which are said to be relatives of Chardonnay, Sémillon, and Chasselas, Musar Blanc is generally described as having the qualities of some of the finest Bordeaux Blanc such as Graves Blanc or Yquem's 'dry Sauternes', "Ygrec". Round, honeyed, and seeing new oak barrels, expect to see notes of citrus oil, fino sherry, lanolin, baked orchard fruit, and at this age, nutty or spiced nuances. Pairings include foie gras, rillettes, and seafood dishes.

Recommended to allow several hours to breathe after opening if possible, and serve at around 55°
